Verizon FiOS TV → Setting up Tivo on Fios

Does the MoCa that fios uses work with the new Tivo Premier or do I just use my Wired Lan? The info available is conficted and seems to indicate the use of an ECB to break out the ethernet to the box. I had DTV prior to fios so the cables are in place either way but I've been using the connection and didn't want to add (another) switch. Thanks

The 4-tuner Premiere boxes have moca support so nothing else would be needed.

The 2-tuner Premieres would require an ECB to use moca.

I initially used MoCa with my XL4, but I couldn't get the TiVo to see Streambaby (program to push shows from computer to TiVo) on my computer. I have no idea whether MoCa was the problem or it was just a coincidence, but I disabled MoCa and used the Cat5 wire I had in place from my Series3.

I did download all the service updates and guide over MoCa so, yes, if you have an XL4 it works at least for the basic functions.
