FTTH - Remplacer Connection Hub par...

Bonsoir,

J'aimerais donc, si qqun connait assez bien pfSence, qu'il me fasse signe..

Tonight, with pfsence, I was able to setup the wan connection to use both vlan, and get them working. I create a wan interface named WANINET for my pppoe connection, and WANIPTV for the Iptv connection.

I added, in the routes, a route for the multicast (224.0.0.0/4) and 10.0.0.0/8 network to go through the WANIPTV port.. I also setted up the IGMP proxy, and added 2 rules in the FW to allow traffic (224.0.0.0/8 and 10.0.0.0/4) to the WANIPTV network..

My internet connection work, and IPTV too.. im able to watch tv, all channels.. BUT.. only one thing.. after 10 seconds, the TV tell me that there is a loss of signal. I change channel and it come back, for another 10 seconds..

Je suis donc jamme la..

Maybe it's a MTU setting issues.

It could be an encryption issue...starts up again after 10 seconds?

@bell.ca

I cant read french but I can provide some insight into the original ops observations.

I dont think it's encryption.

I think something in your setup is not allowing multicast through properly.

When you first access a channel stream, the stream comes through in unicast. Anywhere from 10-45 seconds later it will swap to multicast. Something is happening that is not allowing the hand off from unicast to multicast on your fibetv channel stream.

sounds like you've got some more configuring to do.
