Re: Fee for carriage is dead
Let Bell and Rogers suffer. Netflix and others are starting to grow and replace TV, and specialized media broadcasters like HBO are already looking at online subscriptions to replace conventional TV services.
As I've said a few times before, I really think conventional TV is on its way out and if you need proof, look at the networks and their advertising dollars, all of Bell's media properties are in decline and watch for Rogers and others to fall as well.
Even if fee for carriage was approved, I don't think it would change anything except make the BDUs richer after charging customers for it.
