Anything that causes a team to report an injury to the league. It could be the person out 1 play.

So according to the chart the highest rate of increase in plays involving injuries were in kickoffs and the rate of injuries jumped from approximately .5 percent to a whopping 1.5 percent in 10 years? And that's is for all types of injuries totaled?

If the stats are accurate it and I'm reading them correctly it doesn't seem that serious of an issue to me.
