I will be working hard on that for the next 6 hours I may finally go see Skyfall this afternoon. I wanted to go see the Hobbit in IMAX to see the 9 minute Star Trek trailer but my wife does not want to see the Hobbit! Just earlier this week she watched LOTR: Return of the King with me! |

| I've read a few reviews of the hobbit and it's made me less interested in seeing it. What I gather, was the idea to stretch a rather small book into 3 movies, might not have been a good one.
Lots of filler, slow plot development, doesn't gather any steam until later in the movie. Apparently the real look of 48fps really makes the sets look like sets.
The 9 minute Star Trek trailer will probably still get me to go see it. Most people haven't seen it yet, but the vibes coming from the Hobbit is that it's too long. Maybe they've should of stuck with 1 or 2 movies and trimmed the fat?
Or maybe the wrong people are reviewing it? I quite liked the extended versions of the LoTR movies. |

 | reply to donoreo Nice, Skyfall was good, lots of action, but the opening song is full of spoilers (though they are not overly obvious and its such a catchy tune).
As for the Hobbit, the previews seem dull, and I am shocked they stretched into three films when the same director squeezed LOTR into the same number and left huge sections from the book out. |
