Re: Gen4 and web acceleration

Since I started this thread I'll throw my $0.02 in. Before I switched to Gen4 I took a long hard look at my usage patterns, aware of what I might be gaining in speed and what I might be losing in daily bandwidth usage.
I was also aware, from being with HN for 5 years, that I would rarely see the advertised speeds.
But for me, the switch to Gen4 from my HN700S Professional Pro has been a good one, and I've not regretted it one bit.
I rarely run speed tests because everything I do online feels fast, and that's my own "speed test" *grins*

I'm glad you're satisfied - or not disatisfied - whichever applies. And I apologize for my part of the distraction.

I too am glad you are receiving value from Hughesnet.

On the Hughesnet forums the censorship is so bad that that many wish to cancel service but are even having problems with that.

Anything negative is deleted, if you persist you are banned from posting.

There seems to be a couple over there that are so over the top with praise it has to be a Hughesnet plant.

About the only thing to be learned is the phone number for India.

The only value to be obtained there is the current trends before they are deleted.
