Lost network Discovery

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 that's about 3 years old. Until this morning everything was working fine. Now It does not see my network and says there are no networks available. I've tried rebooting my wireless modem/router, even though all the other computers on my network are picking up the signal just fine. I also tried direct connection via ethernet cable and that didn't work either??
I went to the dell web site and downloaded the latest wireless LAN driver and installed it and still nothing.
Is this a driver issue or has the card gone bad?

OK, brother just came by and fixed the problem...ME!! I had tried to do system restore and it didn't work. Brother tried it again AFTER temporarily disabling my antivirus. Restore work then and problem is solved. Think I'll take a nap now
