| [Mobile] Bell Mobile now unlocks iPhones for $75 + HST Just received word from Bell Executive offices that they now unlock iPhones as long as the account is in good standing and the phone is currently not in a contract. Eg. You had an iPhone 4 and upgraded to a 5 on a new 3 year contract, then you can pay $75+HST and have your old iPhone 4 unlocked.
Very late to the game and more expensive than the others. |

 | Expensive is right can be done for 10$ everywhere else |

With iPhones, all is required is that they send an unlock request to apple, and then you perform the unlock yourself by restoring your phone.... |

| reply to Madwand I thought the government said they have to provide the code free of charge once the phone is out of contract?

 | Try the Pacific Mall on Steeles. Lots of shops that'll do it for a lot less than what Bell charges. -- "It's all coming down!!" - Mike Holmes |

TELUS has been unlocking iPhones for months for $50. |
