| Wish list for future versions of iOS Not that Apple is waiting for me to set up a list so they can start working in the next generation, but here is my wish list anyway (for the record, I don't jailbreak so I am not aware if these modifications are available to those that do) ...
-I love Do Not Disturb (I've never slept so well!) How difficult would it be for them to program in weekends, too! This way the iToys can be set for, presumably, a different set of hours from Friday night until Sunday morning, as most typically sleep later on the weekend.
-Profiles button on lock screen. Once you set it up you can then, with a button press from lock screen and your lock code, have Bluetooth, WiFi, Airplane Mode or any other setting turned on or off. You have to press a lot of buttons to do this manually.
-Location or time based profiles? A pop up with confirmation request can warn user when new profile is going into effect to prevent something from being turned off at the wrong time
-Reminders tied into Mail (OS X, too!). You want to come back and follow up on one. Flags are nice but not enough, how about a time based reminder?
-Global delete for Messages. I hate having to delete a message on iPad, then iPhone, then on my MacBook. I don't like using lock screens (I do for iPhone as its the easiest to misplace) to prevent others from seeing the messages, but even if I did, delete should clean it up everywhere. iCloud can delete Reminders, Contacts, etc. across all devices, why not for Messages? (I know messaging is different, but to me it's just a few lines of code). IMAP for messaging? |

Better search. When I go to the left pane where it searches apps and contacts why can't there be an option "Search XYZ on Google" "Search XYZ on App Store." Basically copy HP's WebOS. Apps can plugin to this, doesn't need to be just the built in system stuff.
Delete Exchange messages. When I open Mail I can delete whatever is there by default, but if I search for something from last month I can view it -- but not delete.
Also it would be nice to get rid of the silly app store restrictions. Why does blockchain.info need to make both an App Store app and a Cydia App? In this case I really don't understand why they don't allow it. Just get rid of it or just let people install what they want from 3rd party sources.
