Re: VPN Review websights
OK, time for my ibVPN quick review;
after nearly a Month of daily use, it's definitely the best i have ever tried, and i got it on sale under $4/mo.
PRO; 3 P2P outlets, so you always find one working at top performance condition, no DNS leaks.
PRO; above average email support - several questions were answered professionally within 18 hours.
PRO; Romania based - so outside the scrutiny of growing EU block anti-privacy legislation.
CON; you can use bogus register info, but it must be from your real public IP not through another proxy/vpn.
CON; manual openvpn /config files are buried on their forum not faq, so most use their proprietary openvpn installer.
some minor gripes about mullvad - and why i won't be going back to them.
- their config files seem buggy, making me force close openvpn every time i disconnect. repeated requests for support to fix this went unresolved.
- i would only go back because mullvad is definitely the king of privacy, as my registration and payment was as anonymous as it gets.
You could try PrivatVPN,nVpn and IPVanish. Such good VPN providers. I use all three depending on what Country i want to pretend to be in, What Encryption, and what protocols i want. I prefer L2TP and SSTP over OpenVPN but that's just me.
