[Caps] Going over 300Gb

I have never gone over my 250gb cap before in 5+ years and I know that the cap is temporarily suspended, but this month I have about 550Gb against my cap.

Would there be any consequences and if so what ?

You should not have a problem with that level of usage. The only markets with a cap are Nashville and Tucson. In other markets there is not a specific limit, though using several terabytes a month might result in a call from Comcast security.

If you don't know why your monthly usage may have suddenly shot up, then check out these previous threads:

Thanks for the replies guys.

I definitely know how this happened. It's called a teenage son discovering p2p.

I wouldn't worry about it. When I was on cable, I was doing 4TB+ a month without a peep from Comcast.

In most markets, the cap is actually suspended.
