Get rid of WirelessN Router from Verzion

I have the red version of the wireless-n router.
I want to get rid of it and use my own.
I believe my new hardware will have more memory and be able to handle my incoming and outgoing connections.
Do I just call up Verzion and have them disable NAT on the device? I do not use TV service and just the internet.
This is the router I am purchasing below.

If you are not using an ethernet connection from the ONT, you will need your connection converted from Moca to ethernet. Have that done with the VZ router in place. Once that is done you can replace the VZ router with your router. Make sure you release your WAN connection before you disconnect the VZ router.

My connection is Ethernet straight to the ONT. I have the 155Mbps package.

Procedure mentioned by KillABrew is detailed in the FAQs starting here. »Verizon Online FiOS FAQ »Replacing the Actiontec (part 1): Coax to Ethernet
