This is what the techs seem to be asking to see here and on the Mediacom site (which is full of complaints on the same Northern MN issue), so here it is. Once again, modem never disconnects.
Sveakul posted : Hi stark4142, here it seems to cycle in and out every several minutes, irregularly but never lasts more than 20 minutes in one "direction". When the problem is "on", I can't load mediacomcable.com or cnn.com, but can load this site and nbcnews.com, for instance. A download from Giganews will stop completely mid-stride. When it cycles back to "normal", all will be fine again for a short while. This is a shopping Sunday and most people have been out all day so I'm hoping as more sit down to their PC here more will post their results. When I can load the mediacom support site, I can see the same thing being reported at Hermantown all day.

Sveakul posted : Yes it's Sunday 8:41am and the problem persists--stalling downloads, super-slow websites, etc. It will seem to disappear for a couple of minutes, and then come right back. Maybe I'm missing something, but since this is exactly the same problem in exactly the same area as the November 12-ish issue, isn't the answer to apply the same solution as was done then? Surely they have logs that show what the problem was last time. Sucks to go through this all weekend.

Sveakul posted : This morning I have begun experiencing the same issue that affected users in this area about one month ago--very slow loading of Internet sites, downloads stalling, etc, even though modem stays bonded and connected. When I could finally load the Mediacom support site, one of the first posts this morning was a user from my zip code experiencing issues. Anyone else up here seeing this again? Last time it happened there were "no reported outages", but eventually they discovered that a problem with the local head-end was causing it.
