You may also want to make sure your case has good air flow. Make sure you have at least one intake fan up front, and that the exhaust fan in the back works. Make sure neither are obstructed and that the wiring in your case is tied well out of the way of air flow.
Ideally all 6 of your case's fan locations should have a working fan on it. With all those fans you can run them at really low speed (i.e. stay quiet) and still get very good air flow.
