donoreoPremium join:2002-05-30 North York, ON | The stink is because most did not read the terms of service and now it is in the media, so they freak. I expected it to get worse after Facebook bought them and it did. Before Instagram did not do anything with the photos, now Facebook will. The change in terms proves it. They spent almost $1Billion, they need to make money off it! -- The irony of common sense, it is not that common. I cannot deny anything I did not say. He may be technically smart, but when it comes to business and people, he is an idiot. This could have been done with no fuss, but no. -- The irony of common sense, it is not that common. | reply to mromero quote: The app maker apologized to its users today, saying it will "remove" language from its legal terms that would have let it sell users' photos or use them in advertisements.
In a blog post this afternoon, Chief Executive Kevin Systrom said it's "our mistake that this language is confusing" and that the company is "working on updated language."
The real problem was people understood. Now Instagram is going to get a law firm to pound out each word from now on. --

The damage is they officially lost their 5 star application status on the Apple App Store. That isn't coming back. |
