Isn't the NFL flexing the Niners/Seahawks game to Sunday night? I thought I read that somewhere. [edit] Here it is: » www.nfl.com/news/story/0 ··· d-to-snfGiants/Ravens moved to 4:25 also. |

This time of year half the games don't mean anything. I just hope they put the ones on TV that matter. |

GOTW will be SF at Seattle. Its real hard to win at Quest Field, where the noise is deafening, and Seattle have been perfect this season. Both rookie QBs have been great, but I give the edge to Russell Wilson. Both have championship running backs, Gore and Lynch. The defenses are physical. Since the game is at Seattle I give them the edge.
I will be watching Giants at Ravens, two teams, that appear to be going nowhere. Two under performing QBs. I give the edge to the Ravens playing at home.
Saints and Cowboys. I'm hoping Romo wins mainly because I dislike Brees for his continuous sanctimonious "We did nothing wrong in Bountygate". But the Saints can put up big numbers and will probably win. |

The good news is Jacksonville should be happy since Tebow will want to be released and they'll scoop him up. He'll sell tickets if nothing else! |

He just needs to be bit more studious to catch on to what defenses are doing. He has the physical talents to be great. He just needs to do some work between the ears. He is certainly an order of magnitude better than any other QB that the Ratbirds have had since the move to Bal'mor (except maybe for McNair in '06). |

Kirk Cousins had some problems getting a haircut, and took a bit of abuse from the other Redskins for it. quote: The victory also gave Cousins a chance to bask in the glow of being a winning starting NFL quarterback. His run of fame continued Wednesday when he showed up for a session with reporters with his mop of hair gone, replaced by a close-cut 'do that - from the eyebrows up - made him look at least 45 years old.
''I have to apologize to my family and friends back home,'' he said. ''I think I'm embarrassing them. I try to represent them well, and my haircut's not doing it.''
He then explained that when he went to get a haircut on Monday, he had a ''communication breakdown'' with a female barber whose English wasn't the best. She also took off his glasses, so he couldn't see what she was doing. ''She wheels me back around,'' Cousins said. ''I look at the mirror and I realized I had a Mohawk. So I tell her, 'Just shave it off. I don't know what to tell you.' So she just buzzed it off, and I have to live with this for the next couple of weeks until it grows back.

Give McElroy the team for 2 weeks, see how he does.
Let Tebow go to where ever he wants. They owe him that much for wasting a season of his career.
I don't know how they should deal with Sanchez and his huge contract. It's a mess.
Edit: I wonder what jabarnut thinks of the Jets right now. |

Wouldn't be hilarious if the Cardinals traded for Him. I can see it now Larry Fitzgerald is retiring in the prime of his career!!! |

Bill Simmons had a great line in last week's NFL column. He said, "Flacco has put together the quietest contract year ever. Ravens fans wouldn't freak out if he left and other teams' fans wouldn't celebrate if he was signed. Cut to Arizona fans screaming, "That not true! THAT'S NOT TRUE! We would throw Flacco a parade!!!!" |

NFC east seems like the key games leading up to playoffs this week. Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys have their seasons on the line this week and next. Who goes to the playoffs and who goes home? |

Playoff scenarios for every teamquote: Dolphins: Can reach the playoffs if they beat the Bills and Patriots, and the Steelers beat the Bengals but lose to the Browns, and the Bengals lose to the Ravens in addition to losing to the Steelers, and the Jets lose at least one more game.
quote: Rams: Technically still alive but would need to win both remaining games while the Vikings, Bears and Giants all lose out, plus either the Redskins or Cowboys lose in Week 16 and then the team that loses in Week 16 wins the Week 17 Cowboys-Redskins game.
And there you have it. A Rams-Dolphins Super Bowl is still possible.
