Re: [NFL] Week 16 Games Discussion Wouldn't be hilarious if the Cardinals traded for Him. I can see it now Larry Fitzgerald is retiring in the prime of his career!!! |

 | reply to rockotman said by rockotman:said by I AM:I wonder what the Ravens will do with Joe Fluko this coming off-season? Flacco is still a pretty damn good QB. He just needs to be bit more studious to catch on to what defenses are doing. He has the physical talents to be great. He just needs to do some work between the ears. He is certainly an order of magnitude better than any other QB that the Ratbirds have had since the move to Bal'mor (except maybe for McNair in '06). Bill Simmons had a great line in last week's NFL column. He said, "Flacco has put together the quietest contract year ever. Ravens fans wouldn't freak out if he left and other teams' fans wouldn't celebrate if he was signed. Cut to Arizona fans screaming, "That not true! THAT'S NOT TRUE! We would throw Flacco a parade!!!!" -- Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty - Ronald Reagan |

Let Tebow go to where ever he wants. They owe him that much for wasting a season of his career.
I don't know how they should deal with Sanchez and his huge contract. It's a mess.
Edit: I wonder what jabarnut thinks of the Jets right now. New York Jets show interest in QB Michael Vick?
The Daily News reports that Jets head coach Rex Ryan loves Michael Vick, according to another unnamed source. He wants someone who stops turning the ball over.

| reply to Moorecards Playoff scenarios for every team
quote: Dolphins: Can reach the playoffs if they beat the Bills and Patriots, and the Steelers beat the Bengals but lose to the Browns, and the Bengals lose to the Ravens in addition to losing to the Steelers, and the Jets lose at least one more game.
quote: Rams: Technically still alive but would need to win both remaining games while the Vikings, Bears and Giants all lose out, plus either the Redskins or Cowboys lose in Week 16 and then the team that loses in Week 16 wins the Week 17 Cowboys-Redskins game.
And there you have it. A Rams-Dolphins Super Bowl is still possible.

4. Redskins: Clinch the NFC East if they win out.
6. Cowboys: Currently behind the Vikings in the NFC, but clinch the NFC East if they win out.
7. Giants: Currently behind the Vikings in the NFC, but clinch a playoff berth if they win out. -- A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasury.

On their 1st drive they went for 1st down twice on 4th and 1's and converted each time. Then got a TD on Washington offsides call when they were given a free shot at end zone.
Might be an unexpected hard fight for the Redskins today. |

I like this better: quote: 11. New Orleans Saints (6-8) Would clinch a playoff berth with two wins and two Vikings losses and two Bears losses and two Giants losses and a Cowboys loss at the Redskins and a Rams loss (Saints would have a 6-6 conference record to the Cowboys' 5-7 and a 2-3 record in common games to the Vikings' 1-4).

Two OT losses and two more losses due to late 4th quarter turnovers by the offense as they get set to close out the opponent. Every game this year was a nail-biter - probably not good for my heart.
As much as it pains me, I guess I shall root for the Ratbirds the rest of the way... can Flacco avoid stupid post-season mistakes for once?
Although, as I sit here watching the Giants/Ravens game, that stupid chant from the Ratbird fans may just make me change my mind. -- Shine on you crazy diamond... |
