For you, nothing.

For those on Cable in Quebec, however....

I assume they're going from multiple 1gig links, to a single 10gig link, which gives them room to grow, and relieves any existing congestion.

Is Rogers gonna allow 10 gig links to aggregated whenever you switch over?

I read that Start had issues with trying to upgrade their physical agg 10gig link (which was set at 1gig) to 2gig, and had to order a separate link...

If so its gonna be a real mess for TSI, but maybe that will be resolved by the time TSI starts switching to agg.

No mess at all, it's up at this very moment on 10Gbps and passing traffic.

I think the mess he was referring to was with Rogers since they randomly decided to limit Start's 10GE port speed to 1GE.

Nice to know that you'll be able to add capacity quickly when needed.

Thanks guys.

And I see the new speeds confirmed on the website:

3M/800k -> 5M/1M
8M/1M - no change
15M/1.5M -> 20M/2M
30M/2M - > 30M/3M

Same prices!

Hi there.

I wish 8M would get a boost. Been thinking of switching to cable, and would have definitely changed if 8 became 12 or 15.

Oh well, might still get it, or the 20 after the holidays. DSL is getting annoying.
