why would ALL the filetypes in the world be friggin enabled by default in the indexing, and there is no easy way to change except go 1 by friggin 1 ...? really? after all these years nobody has complained to MS? or just nobody uses the indexing service?
reply to marshmewllow I leave the Service On but I specifically uncheck the Indexing option in the drivers properties. If you turn the Service off you can't search from the start menu. Well you can but nothing will show up. That is the only place I use the Windows search/indexing system as the Win Explore search SUCKS Big Time. -- Shooter Ready--Stand By BEEP ********
