Re: HELP! Witcher 2 was 99% done downloading and it started over

And yes, GOG does have a download manager.

Do I have to download the game all at once when I use the gog.com downloader? I had it started before I turned my pc off, then now when I turned it back on it was back to the beginning...

Did you properly pause it or just do a hard shutdown mid download?

I don't know man. Can't you just leave the computer on through the night to download it?

No, I mean I did that and it still restarted the download.

@Krisnatharok I could, and probably will. But its the principle. GOG.com's webpage says I can turn my computer off and resume. I want to learn how to get it working.

It does and I have. I don't know if you are running scripts that are clearing out temp files (a la CCleaner or something) prior to shutdown or what. Good luck with your quest, but the problem is probably your computer, since it did it to both Steam and GOG.

Are you running out of space?

Nope, I got about 236GB left on my hard drive. Haven't run ccleaner in a long time ether. Not sure what else would cause that, it doesn't happen to my torrents when I torrent something. Admittedly all I've ever torrented are HIB games though,
