Why not get one from a wrecker? A quarter of the price, if that. |

Thanks , i called they sell the whole mirror .
If there isn't any difference between the glasses from the dealer one then il get the one from the glaziery which would cost 5$.
Thanks |

You may find the present mirror has a bit of a tint to it. Take in a sample from the old one, and check the replacement.
If there isn't, go for it. |

Thanks , i thought about the tint would it be because it would have less reflection that it's tainted ?
Thanks |

Not at all, it would be the same, but wouldn't look OEM. |

Thanks , the difference then is that the original has the message object are closer than they appear.
I leave in Canada so i don't know if the shipping would make it worth.
They aren't heated. |

The Dorman Product should be in Canadian Parts Stores (or be able to be ordered by a local Canadian Parts Store if not stocked). » www.dormanproducts.com/P ··· buy.aspxquote: Due to the wide range of Dorman Products, some products may not be available at all locations. Please contact the location to verify product availability.

Thanks , the glass that broke didn't have the message so i suppose it was replace for one that is not OEM , i saw they sell the whole mirror and then it has to painted so it is around 200$.
I would get the one from the glaziery if it's same.
Thanks |

What Year, Make and Model vehicle?
Which side mirror? The drivers side (aka left side) or the passenger side (aka the right side)?
Is the only thing broken the actual mirror glass, or is there damage to the painted exterior housing or the mounting pad the glass is glued to? |

These are exact opposite statements, which one is true? Not all OEM mirror have a message on the glass. A: said by Mont:the difference then is that the original has the message object are closer than they appear. B: said by Mont:the glass that broke didn't have the message so i suppose it was replace for one that is not OEM |

said by Mont:Thanks , is that mirror convex or flat ? As of at least 2011 in the US, all DRIVER'S side mirrors were flat. Only passenger side mirrors were permitted to be convex. There was some talk about letting both be convex as it has been in Europe for years but I don't know if that change was ever made. |

well I got a busted side mirror on my van. Order a complete replacement motor adjustable online and put it on I think it was $42. And the mirror shakes in the housing when you hit a bump or go fast...Worst thing I have done in a while, not sure what to do now. |

If the mirror unit was one piece with the external housing you should report it as a possible defect to the seller or manufacturer. However, if you installed the insides (mirror glass and backing with or without motor) into your old outer housing, then recheck your work as it sounds like you didn't properly connect the guts to the housing. |
