I currently have ADSL with at&t the 6Mbps service and love it. I'm a gamer and was thinking of switching to U-Verse just the internet but I here people talking about the line being interleaved and adding higher ping times. Is their no way to do Fast path with U-verse?
All FTTN VDSL2 U-Verse (Single Pair or Pair Bonded) is Interleaved
All FTTP BPON U-Verse is Fiber, so there is no xDSL Interleave/Fast Path, but pings are single digit to your first hop, which is typically quicker than Fast Path xDSL
IPDSLAM ADSL2+ U-Verse, be it out of a CO or an RT/CEV/VRAD, can be provisioned Fast Path or Interleaved. I have seen both
So long story short, depends on which "flavor" of U-Verse you would be getting
