Re: [General] Do you have any VoIP Wireless Bridge suggestions?

said by axburr :

I've got Comcast cable and vonage coming off of it. We have 1 internet phone port in the house and the vonage phone is plugged in there. I just started a job where they've given me a VoIP phone and a second VoIP phone number. I don't understand enough about the technology to understand how to do this.

The new VoIP directions say that I can set up a wireless connection using the WBP54G wireless bridge which is now no longer made.

any ideas how I can set this up?

So, I take it that you don't have an Ethernet port near where you would like to place the IP phone. Instead of looking for a wireless solution, why not try a powerline adapter (such as these: »www.amazon.com/ZyXEL-HomePlug-Po···V3L0GN)?

@comcast.net
great idea - thanks. wasn't sure how these things work, but will give it a try.
