Fort Smith, AR | [OS X] Canon printer... I just bought a Canon MG2120. Got this model because it says it's compatible with OSX. Well that's not entirely true, because it will not work with Mountain Lion. Does anyone know if an older set of drivers and software will work or will some functions of the printer not work? |

There are drivers for Mountain Lion. If you need to, give Canon a call and they will help you. All you need is the Serial Number.

Lets be clear is it not detecting at all, or just some functions are not working
Canon drivers come from Apple thru the OS install and updated from software updates.
More info about your install my help drill down to the problem. |

Mountain Lion is supported so sayith Canon. It's the first on the list.

So I would follow lordpuffer's link and install those specific canon downloaded drivers. |

It detected the printer just fine, and asked if I wanted to install it. I click yes, it goes through it's thing, then says there is no software available for the printer. I downloaded the Lion drivers with no issues. |
