That I'm not for sure. They offer a wide array of services. I just point my own dns servers(bind) at their servers. »www.opendns.com/

I remember the last time I updated and changed boxes I didn't like something about bind9 and windows, so i continued using ubuntu and upgraded to 12.04

Treewalk is a local caching DNS service, similar to Bind, and specifically designed for Windows. Without it, OP has nothing to point to OpenDNS. All he can do is set his system TCP stack to use OpenDNS.

Talkwalk DNS was once known as Bind PE, as in personal edition, and was optimised to run on Windows.
