[Other] Time sync issues - Windows Server 2008

Hello,

I have a Windows 2008 Server thats my Primary Domain Controller, and all workstations sync from it. Every time that server is rebooted for updates, the time is changed back to GMT time. (Instead of staying at GMT-7, Colorado time.) Ive tried using NTP to set it, but that only keeps the minutes correct instead of the hour. Any ideas what could be causing this? It's pretty annoying when you're on your desktop and it says its 4:07 am instead of 11:07

Thanks!!

Is it a VM or physical server?

If you have access to the host, make sure it has the correct time settings. Usually the guest will pull its time from the host on startup. You should also be able to just disable the time sync between the guest and the host all together which should also stop that from happening.

What hypervisor are you using?
