Morganton, NC | [iPhone] Missing hotspot option Does anyone know why the Personal Hostspot option would disappear from the settings on an iPhone 4s? It has been there before and was being used. The phone is running iOS 6.0.1.

Morganton, NC | Yes, the plan does include the mobile hotspot, the user has been using it until today when the option to turn it on in Services disappeared.
If if had been turned off by Verizon, would the option disappear in Services?

kudos:6 | Displaying Personal Hotspot is controlled by flags set on your account with the service provider. If the correct information is not on your account, then iOS will either not display personal hotspot or show a message saying you need to sign up with your service provider to activate it.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't work, you'll have to call Verizon. Hopefully the CSR will know what to do to get the account reset properly.
