Is it possible to open existing documents with alternate "Margins" settings ? The default margin settings seem to apply only to new documents. I changed the Word default to "Moderate" margins and I would like all documents to open with moderate margins.
I can save a document with moderate margins and it will re-open in moderate, which indicates that margins are part of the document itself. I was hoping there is a way to override the document's properties.
Thanks for the info. I was not aware of those extra options. Unfortunately those options apply only to new documents, not to existing documents or to text files.
