[FireFox] Bookmark organization and management
I have a *_TON_* of bookmarks from years of using Firefox since it was called Phoenix. There are so many they won't sync reliably using Firefox Sync OR Xmarks Sync. But I don't want to dump them all and start again.
I'm looking for suggestions or ideas as to how I can export my current bookmarks, convert them to a database or something else I can use in Firefox and Chrome, then prune them back to a small enough set that I can enable FF Sync or XMarks Sync (with profiles). I would prefer FF Sync as it is truly private (Xmarks mines your bookmarks for their "popular sites" info).
What's worse is I use FF on a work laptop, a home computer, and multiple Android devices (phones and tablets) which are both personal and work tools. I want to have work, home, and mobile bookmark sets available from all the devices at different times.
