CiscoConnect E1200 1.4.12263 for MacHi.
I am trying to install a E1200 on 10.8.2. The problem is the disk does not recognize 10.8 as a valid operating system.
I see a program update on the linksys site. However (on multiple machines) CiscoConnect.E1200.1.4.12263.1.dmg is corrupted and the OS rejects it.
Does anyone have a good link for this?
Thanks. |

Sorry. I actually didn't read the article. I thought it would be about setting it up via browser.
Set it up w/o the software. I don't think I have used a disk in 15 years.
The default IP address is 192.168.1.1. The username and the password is admin. |

What I am sure of is that I could configure your E1200. Here's another link that can help you. » support.earthlink.net/ar ··· 1000.php |

It only shows how to configure wifi.
It's a bit more complex, was hoping there would be a working software download that is supposed to configure all of this stuff. |

Set it up to the modem then upgrade firmware. I figure it would be quicker with the software... which is still broken. |

Ok. I point to » Verizon DSL FAQ » How do I use a router with the Westell 6100?While I know you don't have the Westell 6100, it clearly says quote: These instructions apply to the Westell 2200, 6100, 6100F, 327W, and 7500 models.

Did a few searches and apparently Cisco is fessing up that the software doesn't work with 10.8. |
