Just received notice (Garden State, NJ) in my bill the Sports Entertainment Package is going up on 1 JAN 13 to $8.95 a month. In my opinion your really only paying for NFL Redzone channel. Give it another year and this package will go up to $9.95. Comcast knows this Redzone channel is the closest comcast customers have to the "NFL Ticket"
reply to mountlaurel I just subscribed to the Xfinity Triple Play HD premium for $199 (includes all fees and 2 extra TVs) a month for the first year and that includes the AnyRoom DVR, all the premium channels, the sports entertainment package, blast 50 Internet and the home phone service.
Edit: the only reason I have the sports package is Turner Classic Movies and Fox movie channel.
