Re: Path of Exile above is correct, it is closed beta currently, open beta is january 27th or something like that
when it is released it will be free to play, 10$ is the minimum and that does get you into the beta, higher amounts get other items, such as a kiwi ingame, and ingame currency which currently can be used to purchase extra stash slots and character slots
i'm about to stream again if anyone is interested in checking it out
