Windows 7 Slow to shut down

JMoss join:2012-07-14 Monroe, VA	Windows 7 Slow to shut down After transferring a large amount of photos from one win 7 computer to another win 7 computer via my network, the receiving computer takes a VERY LONG time to shut down. Any ideas/suggestions?

JMoss join:2012-07-14 Monroe, VA	reply to FizzyMyNizzy Ran an AVG cleanup and it found several hundred registry errors. After getting rid of those the computer shut down as quickly as ever. But once I went back into the pictures folder the problem returned.
