2 edits | What happened to the pingtest thread? new one? pretty jittery, some people complain I skip a little in quake live. (super ping sensetive) not a real problem, I just use my DSL line in pfsense for 0ms of jitter on pingtest and for games. In Merced CA, i'm fine though.
how bout you guys |

 | reply to JigglyWiggly Hmm:

Probably because I don't give Java free rein on my PC:

OTOH, the standard ping and traceroute commands work just fine (and test both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity):

Hmm, this site did not seem to like my traceroute results post. I will try to use an uploaded screen shot image instead:

 | reply to JigglyWiggly Wow, 44ms of jitter on a 94ms session?
That's not jitter, that's a convulsion. |

The distance is wrong because the GeoLocation is wrong on my IP. It thinks I'm in Kansas.
I also get the feeling that PingTest doesn't work that great on Linux computers. Sometimes the packet loss test works and sometimes it doesn't.

 | reply to Jitters_NOT I think my parents house is connected at the end of the node. There's a fake rock where comcast stuff is on the lawn. If I didn't have this DSL line here for winterbreak, I'd open that and put myself at the front of the node or not because that's illegal... |
