 | [WIN8] Non-Metro Chrome for Win 8? I installed Windows 8. Its pretty cool and I don't mind Metro much because I still have a traditional desktop. But, I downloaded Chrome, and it refuses to run as a normal windowed program. Metro Chrome is terrible for productivity and opening multiple windows. Is there any way to get Chrome to run normally.
BTW, I find it funny that I got google video hangouts to work in IE but it refuses to work in Chrome lol (no video or voice chatting). |

 | That's exactly what I was looking for!! Thanks!!
I really think that Chrome should open metro style if you open it from metro menu and desktop style if you open it from the desktop. |

 | reply to halo989 I downloaded the stand-alone installer and that loads just fine in my Win8 installation. I've not tried the metro chrome.

Hope that helps. |

 | If Metro Chrome can't run extensions or scripts then I have no interest. |
