Re: Brrrrr!

Heh heh. I went to Los Angeles once. It was about 60 F and I saw many people wearing down-stuffed parkas. I was in short sleeves.

So, I know what you're talking about. The other morning when I made the top post, it was around 27, I think.

To me, under 40 is pretty chilly, under 30 is pretty cold, and under 20 is very cold. Under 10 is insane. But I live in the Deep South. I'm sure if I were from Minnesota or Montana or someplace like those, my thresholds would be even lower.

BTW, where is Stoogeville?

I live in the high desert of So. Calif. This time of year 20's and 30's is normal with an occasional reading in the teens.

When you were in LA it was probably me wearing one of the down-stuffed parkas.

And come winter time how you spot a local in a Key West grocery store in winter we are wearing sweaters and coats, partly because of outside, but still heavily cool AND dry inside so ultra cold....

Summer its a tolerable welcome for short time.

Same thing with the multiplex theater in town summer a nice change for an hour or two... but winter still heavy AC and even drier air downright COLD.
