Re: [Sci-Fi] Doctor Who: 2012 Christmas Special Just watched the episode. Pretty cool. And not what I expected regarding the companion. I expected one actress playing two characters (as was done with Martha), not one character who dies twice.
And a goof: The spiral staircase switches between clockwise and counter-clockwise in different shots.

The ponds were lost due to a fixed point in time. Now we seem to have a fixed person through out time.
It will be interesting to see this unfold. I didn't like how she was flirting and putting the moves on the Doctor, nor how he was willingly responding back. It's as if he already forget his wife, and the Pond's daughter.
Be interesting to see if they "forget her" [The doctor's wife], or bring her in at some later part of the season.

I totally loved her flirting with the Doctor. And the Doctor's response wasn't "willing" per se, more like in spite of himself. She was just what he needed to get back into saving the world(s)
