| Unverified server certificate Since I installed rogers internet last week I get a message every time I check my windows live mail mail at rogers.com which says
" the server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. The certificate name does not match the passed value. Do you want to continue using this server yes no"
What is this all about?

Nepean, ON | I am not familiar with this specific issue ... but you should do a number of things;
1 .. run Windows update and make sure to look at optional updates --- in optional updates look for certificate updates and if you see any place check marks in the boxes then click OK
2.. Also make sure that you have the latest version of windows live mail also should be in Windows update.

Sounds like you are using ssl.
settings should be
pop.broadband.rogers.com on port 110
smtp.broadband.rogers.com on port 587
no ssl |
