Come on Comcast! This is unreasonable. Comcast out here due to snow/ice. No problem I'll just watch some DVRd shows. Ooooops....no sound from recordings. What is up with that?Is this normal or should I be getting sound?
It should have no affect on the audio. In fact, with the cable out, at some point it will disable the DVR features since it can't talk to the authorization servers.
Probably just a weird thing then. I can see my recordings but my son, on the DVR in his room, can't see them. At least the ones he says he hasn't watched yet. But the sound is working on the ones he can view. His DVR is a different model than mine.
