My thing actually changes as I get bored of an aspect of the game. Right now leveling my Alliance set to 90 is the goal. After that I'll probably work on getting a horde toon to 90 for the achievement. Then, and probably while working on the horde toon, I'll finish all of the MoP quest lines.

I got Loremaster on my Horde Paladin before Cata dropped. I started collecting mounts and pets before they were account wide.

I enjoy the game much more with LFD.

For roles I enjoy both tanking and ranged DPS. My Paladins and Mages are my preferred toons, I don't have any class that I don't enjoy playing, and I have them all twice.

When I did WoW my thing was flying in circles in Org waiting for arena Q or RBG Q. and the occasional /2 rage outburst for PvP flaws.

what I miss the most about the game is really the music and nostaligia of the first 2-3 months I played. And my guild. And a few months where I was OP and single handedly won many BG where we should of lost. like jesus

But although achieves are account-wide now, the quests don't stack from one toon to another, do they?

For example, if I have 800 Kalimdor quests under my belt, I can't do 100 on my Pally and 100 on my Rogue and get to 1,000, can I?

It would be great if I could, just to get some variety.

In the past, I played for:
- End game raiding. Top 125 US 25m guild. Loved the challenge. Loved the researching.
- Gold. I loved making it. Made most of my ~800K fortune in Wrath when gems were just ridiculously easy to obtain and they sold for 2-300 each.
- Alts were a passion for a small amount of time. It got the point where I got bored with it though.

My drive to play and to lead this guild is based in a desire to help good friends see more of the game together. If the guild were to lose the family feeling, I'd quit playing altogether. My favorite thing in-game is to see the achievement toasts... but not just mine. I love seeing a whole bunch of guildies get an achiev for the first time while raiding/dungeoning together. For me... there is nothing more satisfying in WoW.

Perhaps that was Blizzards intention all along. Make money from mass guild/player transfers.

Just something to remember... even on Mal'Ganis which is like 98% horde... our horde lowbies tend to have trouble with being camped while leveling in lower levels due to the xrealms. While you may end up picking a high pop alliance server, doesn't mean you won't be in a group with a high pop pvp horde group that will make your life miserable.

We are looking at Medium pop PvE realms skewed heavily in favor of the Alliance. Currently scouting 3 realms with one highly favored among them. I don't have any RL ties to my guild. I have neither the time nor the desire to be a raider. I pay almost zero attention to the lore.

I guess it's because it's open-ended (pretty much) and I'm so used to it. That and there really isn't much else out there for a Mac. (I'm too lazy/cheap/anti M$ to put Windoze on my machine or my wife's)

I played mostly to look bad-ass so anything I had to do to get the gear, I did and to its fullest(dailies, dungeons, PVP, etc). I was never able to really get into raiding as I couldn't set a specific time-slot aside but was able to do a few here and there. 40-man MC back in vanilla was an awesome sight to behold.

I admit I even made a toon on Moon Guard because of that thread. Quite an odd place, but packed with people. I really think some of the people in my guild on echo would love that place.

I enjoy most aspects of the game, from exploring, to dungeons, to PVP arenas. I've not done raiding yet, if I can get slaghappy up there, that may change I hope. Some dungeons suck major ass, and I hate when I get them on random, but for the most part, it's good.

I started getting into the pet battles recently. So add that to the list.

I don't have the dedicated time to raid on a normal schedule, so I spend time when I have it doing little bit here and alittle bit there.

I was into raiding but have never been in a very progression focused guild. We raided current content and wanted to do our best but we almost never go to the end of any tier I think (we may have actually downed anub when it was current in ToC, don't remember, and we got to Rag in current but didn't down him).

In LK I had every Northrend rep at 999/1000 exalted except kaluak and oracles/frenzyheart. I kinda took a break from the rep grind in cata and only really focused on the ones with the stuff I needed or wanted. I'm somewhere in the middle now for MoP.

If I had to pick one thing specifically I would pick achievements. I've always been interested in doing them but actually haven't really done all of the world event ones yet (I have some). Prior to Christmas I was actually working on Outland Raider achieve and have 3 left to go.

I do have every profession across my high level toons except enchanting (I do have enchanting on a low level mage) but my GF has maxed enchanting so I have it covered. I tried pet battles, it's OK but not really grabbing my attention that well.

I may also be an altoholic now that I think of it. Prior to the free 80 SoR, I had two max level (for Cata) toons, a DK and druid. I also have an 80 hunter on another server that got transferred over. Thanks to the free 80 I quickly had a max level priest and paladin too. Right now, my DK is my only 90; priest, druid and paladin are each 88, hunter is still 85.

I used to be more into raiding, saw part of but never finished BT in TBC, got Bane of the Fallen King in Wrath, but then went more and more casual in Cata and now MoP. LFR has made it more possible since I can see the instance, sort of experience the boss fights and maybe (yeah right) get some loot. PVP has always been a side thing with varying levels of importance. I hit my highest in vanilla with doing BG's enough to get the Knight-Captain title and in Cata getting the Grand Marshal title in RBG's. Now I just do dailies/farm while waiting for LFR to pop and maybe some heroics or scenarios on a weekend.

I am kind of at the point of deciding whether or not I want to continue subscribing. If I don't, perhaps a move to a PvE realm. I don't know.
