Teksavvy POTS

I currently have TSI POTS service and would like to transfer my number to freephoneline. FPL has advised me it'll take about 10 days to complete the transfer. My billing cycle is end of the month, so it's obviously to late to have it done before year end. I was wondering if any notice needs to be given to Teksavvy to avoid being billed for February? I'll most likely initiate the transfer second weekend in Jan to have enough time before the February's bill gets processed. Is there a possibility of them giving me a credit for the unused days after the transfer? I am still with Teksavvy cable so, it would be nice to get a credit that way. Also, anything I should watch out for during the process?

Hello Rizag,

Providing the port over date is done before your billing date, you will not be charged another month of service.

We do not cancel your account for you until we receive a notice from Bell that you are porting away on X date. If we would cancel your account prior to the port over, it would negate the transfer and you would loose your number.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Andre

Ok thanks! How about credit for the remainder of the Month if we port mid month.
