1 edit | wmgm (40.1) gone from clear qam I am in South Jersey (Wildwood Area) and use to get WMGM (NBC Atlantic City) on 40.1. it is gone now, and a recent rescan didn't seem to find it. Did they encrypt this channel for some reason? It is an OTA channel, so thought they had to keep it open, but I know there is a lot of discussion on that point |

Re: wmgm (40.1) gone from clear qam Check if you TV has both rescan and scan functions. With my TV, the scan function of initial setup found more channels than the rescan function. The full scan likely ignored any previous scan results, while the rescan tried, unsuccessfully, to combine the former and present channel mappings. |
