It may be a packet loss issue between u and the gateway. Try to ping your node gateway (not the modem). If you see tons of request time out, that's the packet loss between you and the gateway.
How to solve it? Since 2011 until now, they still can't solve it. and~ The last TWC tech I met told me the best way is "move".
