blue spots/shadows/smudges at tv corners from time to time

Hi there,

I have Fibe tv through FTTH. Sometimes, when watching tv, there are blue shadows in the corner of the images and come and go depending of the colour. The panasonic tech guy came to my house and told me it's not the tv because it doesn't do it from other sources.

My receiver is st to 1080i and my tv has overscan:OFF...

Has anyone experienced this?

Have never seen this in any installs I've done.

If you have multiple FibeTV receivers in your house, you could try interchanging them to rule out if it's the receiver or not.

also, are the other sources in different types of inputs?

eg is your dvd player on hdmi vs the fibetv on component?

try swapping in a known good device onto the tv input your fibetv box is connected too.

Maybe even the resolution could be an issue, try going to 720p to see if that helps
