Persistent logins

I used to have a persistent login at DSLreports (didn't have to enter login credentials each time), but something has changed. I'm using FF 17.01.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this has changed?

Are you using any form of 'private' browsing?

No, and all the site cookies are 'session'.

Session cookie

A user's session cookie for a website exists in temporary memory only. Web browsers normally delete session cookies when the user closes the browser. You are having to sign in again because you delete your session cookie.

That's correct - why isn't the site depositing persistent cookies when I check 'remember me'?

I'm going to try something on the back end which may help (of course it may not...).
