Loco, since your wife is a former iPhone 4S user, how does she like Note 2 keyboard for text messages? I am trying to get far from Qwerty keyboards I can not see to use. ~ Thanks.

She actually likes it better. I'm also liking her new phone.....better than my GS3.

You may want to take a look at Seidio cases. I've had them on my last 3 android devices and love them.

I've used Sense and Touchwiz and personally, I think they are both very good. I'm certainly not a fan of manufactures UI but I feel that Samsung did a very good job with TW on the S3 and Note 2 (which is one reason they are selling so well). Samsung had a lot of things in TW that Google did not add until 4.1.

+1 I have used the above as well as Motoblur. They did a great job on the S3.
My wife has agreed that if I give her my S3 I could buy the Note 2 and that is exactly what I'm gonna do.

I'll deffiantly get something.

I am going to get a screen protector. The phone is already slightly scratched on the botthom left and corner from the previous owner. so I don't want to risk anymore damage.

Ill order a case within a day or so.

My wife has the Note 2 and loves it. Even her coworkers with iPhones compliment her on it.

So, since the phone is used, has a slight scratch on the screen and some of the silver paint taken off around the bottom left corner, there is a new issue....

The S-pen doesn't work properly. Not responsive and inconsistant.

Called up VZ and they are sending me a refurbished Note 2 free of charge!

I have recently purchased a Note II.

IMHO although it runs simlar software to the S3 the Note II gives a much better user expereince. If you travel the US S3 does not have a set of world wirelesses like the Note II does. The better CPU also adds to the experience re the NOTE and will do so even more in the future. A word of caution on the Sprint version of the Note II. If you travel although it has a full world wireless stack it has an "embedded" GSM chipset so you CANNOT put a local SIM card in when traveling. i.e. you have to pay Sprint for each and every call when overseas. Naughty Sprint!
