Nah. I think it's legit. I logged in. Was a little surprised that they needed a lot of extra info, like things my mother's maiden name, SS and SIN #'s, and my bank details, but I guess Google tightening up their security or something.

Yeah... apparently, the banned letter thing had to do with the Ukraine nationalists wanting to return to independence from the Soviet orbit, so Uncle Joe tried to stamp out all vestiges of pre-Soviet Ukrainian uniqueness, including many of the people themselves. Nice guy, Uncle Joe... NOT!
