Re: UPS shipping, weather, Canada Montreal got 18" of snow on Thursday. Winds were gusting to 40 mph and the snow drifts were 3 feet deep. Some people spent 4 hours stuck on highways for what is normally a 30 minute trip. That would certainly affect UPS trucks.
I took the above photo Thursday afternoon. The small bumps on the right side are cars buried up to their windshields. The minivan in front of them is stuck in the snow, and that's after the owner spent 2 hours trying to dig it out. |
