Re: New Java Security in Action
I was wondering why IE checkbox was grayed out. I did what the tip suggested and now Java is un-applied for IE. I wonder if that will make it possible for me to remove the old Java plugin entries in IE? When I uninstalled the previous Java version from Programs and Features in the Control Panel (before I installed the current version) it said it uninstalled properly. I didn't check IE but evidently it didn't uninstall the three Java plugins on IE and then when I installed the lastest Java that did not upgrade plugins on IE.
I don't know what actually is going on with IE and Java. I asked in Microsoft forum.
