[DVR] dvr

They have charged me for dvr and I was supposed to get it for free for life. I have repeatedly been told it would be fixed and two yrs later I still am being over charged. The last time I called she transferred me and I was disconnected after all the time she had me on hold. I think I will go back to comcast when my contract is up in September 2013. I at lest know how to stick to a contract. (removed)

Two notes:

The "Free DVR for life" offer only applies to Multi-Room DVR, not the standard DVR. Also, the offer expires if you move, even if you keep FiOS service.

Next time, don't call them asking for a resolution; instead, use Live Chat. The wait is shorter, and you will have a timestamped record of anything you discuss. If they promise to fix it and they do not, you should lodge a complaint with your local franchise authority, who will compel Verizon to work with you towards a solution.
